It’s a sad day in the literary world. Salinger was an intriguing man indeed. I’m definitely going to read “A Perfect Day for Bananafish” tonight before bed. It’s only a couple pages, but worth checking out.

This morning I went out to Eagle Rock, which is technically still LA — just quite a haul from my hood, to meet my childhood friend and his wife for brunch.
